Embracing Strangeness is an Avant Garde collection inspired my Emma Larson's contemporary art. In a world with so many guidelines, stereotypes and strictness, sometimes we can forget the fun, strange part of our personality that makes us unique. The purpose of this collection is to embrace strangeness and bring joy through color, mixed patterns and fun silhouettes. Influenced by the artist's spontaneity, color schemes and patterns on her work, this collection concept is explored through fabric manipulation techniques to achieve dramatic volume, shapes, colors and textures.
